School's Financial Benchmarking Service

What is Benchmarking?

Benchmarking compares data from our school with other, similar schools. Benchmarking covers all aspects of school performance.

Why Benchmark?

Benchmarking helps the school to look at areas in which it is doing well or might be able to improve its financial performance. It provides a helpful guide and a starting point for further questions and investigation.

The School Financial Value Service (SFVS) requires that governors confirm that they have benchmarked their income and expenditure at least annually. Governors must investigate further where their school is out of line with others.

How to Benchmark

The Department for Education benchmarking websiteallows you to compare our school’s financial data with others nationally. The information is publicly available and is currently based on 2024/2025 financial data.
