Sports Premium Grant

What is the PE and Sport Premium?

The PE and sport premium is designed to help primary schools improve the quality of the PE and sport activities they offer their pupils. Schools must spend the funding to improve the quality of the PE and sport activities they offer their pupils, but they are free to choose the best way of using the money.

Our PE and sport premium allocation for the current academic year:

£ 6232

How we intend to spend our allocation:

·      Hire qualified sports coaches to work with teachers to develop their practise

·      Formalise the programme of curriculum support by working through a PE Curriculum Support programme for all teachers.

·      Offering a multi-sports after school club aimed at improving the sports skills of pupils in Year R/KS1

·      Compete against other schools in a variety of sporting competitions

·      Offer a lunchtime club once a week to enable Year 5 pupils to be trained as Play Leaders

·      PE service level agreement with Harrow Way providing additional expertise for our school and the local cluster
